I’ve been DJing now for about 10 or 11 years, and having played everything from trance, house, hard house, electro, breaks and the odd bit of dnb; and my experience is pretty far reaching. I’ve promoted my own nights, having run a very successful night, Rhapsody, in Cheltenham; I’ve now moved on to other nights such as That Thing! and Tekniq. Rhapsody was all about showcasing the best breaks, electro, and dnb talent in the southwest; Tekniq is on a similar vibe, but dirtier and more focussed on the dnb with bookings like - Chase & Status, Nicky Blackmarket, Cyantific, and Spectrasoul. I currently hold a residency for That Thing! and have DJed alongside the likes of The Stanton Warriors, The Freestylers, The Scratch Perverts, Shy FX, Noisia, and Pendulum. I''''m also in touch with most of the other nights in Gloucestershire and make appearances for the likes of Breakout, The Tunnel Sessions, Rokit, Glampop, The Lock Up and others. My DJing reflects this mashup of influences – I’m not really one to be tied to a style or genre... how can you react to a crowd if you only bring a few similar tunes? I suppose when forced I’d say I’m a breaks DJ, but you might not think that on first impression. Breaks are my current love, but you’ll probably hear a good smattering of other things in my sets these days fidget, bassline, electro, techno – I like to keep people on their toes and find that throwing in plenty of electro and the odd trance remix or classic keeps things bouncing nicely! My music tends to lean towards the dirty, edgy and raw end of the spectrum – anything really chunky, bass ridden, and thoroughly electronic is ideal for me.
